Short version: we keep the lights on, we don't sell you out.
This is the privacy policy for Burnt Dad Kitchen (burntdad.com), operated by Magic Sun LLC. It explains what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Plain English, no lawyer soup.
1 EMAIL & MAGIC LINKS
When you save your tokens, we ask for your email address and send you a magic link to sign in — no passwords, ever. We use your email only to:
  • Send the login link you requested.
  • Tie your token balance to your account so it follows you between devices.
  • Send you the occasional important account or purchase message.
2 TOKEN PURCHASES (STRIPE)
Recipe tokens are bought through Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record that a purchase happened (amount, date, and your token balance) so we can honor what you paid for. Stripe's own handling of your payment data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
3 AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS
Some ingredient links point to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Magic Sun LLC may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you. When you click one of these links, Amazon may set its own cookies and collect information under Amazon's privacy policy. We don't receive your Amazon order details or personal shopping data.
4 WE DON'T SELL YOUR DATA
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — full stop. We share data only with the trusted services that make Burnt Dad work (like Stripe for payments and our email provider for magic links), and only as much as they need to do their job.
5 YOUR CHOICES
Want your account and data deleted? Email us and we'll take care of it. You can stop using magic links at any time, and unsubscribe from non-essential email whenever you like.
